Ai Shimizu (清水 愛 Shimizu Ai), born March 26, 1981, in Tokyo, Japan, is the Japanese voice actor of the basketball girl from ep. 10 of the Azumanga Daioh anime. Besides being a voice actress, she has a singing career, signed to Lantis. She has released 14 singles and four albums. She is good friends with fellow voice actress Mai Nakahara, with whom she has collaborated in eight anime series. She has had roles in many series, including D. Gray-man and Tsubasa Chronicle. She can also speak Chinese and is skilled in apparatus gymnastics. Her blood type is AB and she is 154 cm tall.
